A fatal accident on the Rock Island bridge near North Topeka leaves 13 year old Mirschel MoGer dead after dashing from a freight train into a stone pier and water. Hobbie Timar Witt Triehe and Hirsc hel Ste Gee, all around 14, were with him as the cars passed. MoGer fell in, body severely mangled, rolling into the river while bystanders and the two surviving boys notified his parents. Coroner Westerfield ordered an inquest as the body was recovered and transported.
