Water Company halts street washing plan in Topeka

Topeka Water Supply company issues a notice blocking cleaning by washing on paved streets. Major Harrison had pushed a rushing process to clean asphalt streets along Kansas avenue. City officials say the contract covers gutter fusing only and will seek council action while payment for flushing would fall to the city.
