Toodyay Hospital Ball Shines At Town Hall
Friday night under ideal weather the Toodyay Hospital Ball drew about one hundred couples who danced to Griffin's Jazz Band until 3 am. Guests enjoyed high class catering, elegant attire, and a well run program that boosted hospital funds by 30, a needed public support boost. In separate notes from Winton Victoria, Mr. R W Nicholas increased land carrying capacity by using superphosphate, boosting herd numbers and pasture yields on 70 acres. Subterranean clover now grows amid weeds, improving pasture quality.
