Denver and Rio Grande Jaiload announces two new trains on the Denver San Francisco route. Train 7, the Western Pacific San Francisco express, departs Denver at 1 300 PM and arrives Salt Lake City next day before reaching San Francisco. Train 4, the Pacific Coast Mall, leaves Denver at 8 15 PM, stops Salt Lake City at 12 50 AM, then continues to San Francisco the following day.
Miss Frances Hyland and Mr. Richard H. Hodge were secretly married by Rev. Father Wynn at St. Patrick's Church Tonopah. Hyland is the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Myland and a social figure. Hodge has long resided in Tonopah and works at the Desert Power mill in Mile 0. They plan to depart for Mile City for their new life as husband and wife.
County commissioners in session considered a petition to buy the Ponrpjat Sewer company but rejected the proposal. Voters’ petitioners pressed for action as the meeting adjourned with the fate of the request uncertain.
In Canon City Colorado Mabel Manning is released from the Colorado state penitentiary after a pardon and marries George A. Reid a government forest ranger. Reid had pledged marriage to win parole for Manning who was convicted of forging in Denver and sentenced to two to three years. The couple left the prison together to begin life in Arizona.
Tonopah hosted two weddings yesterday. Hazel Lute wed Murdo Smith at 4 pm at the Weide residence with Rev Burnham officiating, about 80 friends present. Later at 8 pm Walter Fincher wed Kathleen Brown at Mrs. McCrate’s residence in a quiet ceremony attended by close family.
Robert A. Wood of the South Boston House of Correction urged that drunkenness is curable and called for state institutions to address destitution at the 18th annual conference of the National Conference of Charities and Corrections. He argued moral reform alone cannot end vice.
The Powrth of Daly Enmien will meet tonight at 7:90 at the office of Harey Epstine to report progress. Attendance requested. business of importance will be discussed.
The Wilke lodge plans a Sunday flag day observance at 7 p m featuring an introductory ceremony, songs including Columbia the Gem of the Ocean and Auld Lang Syne, and a tribute to the flag. Members and audience are invited to participate as officers stand by the flag in a salute to service members.

The Bast Reliant Mining Company of Nevada is formed for 1,000,000 shares with Fred Diner, Martin Kent, F Stevens, B D Mills and James R Blair as incorporators. The Wagner Copper Company is incorporated in South Dakota for 2,000,000 shares with Douglas, Frank M Tech, Mare-ish, and S. Wolan as incorporators. Tonopah Masonite Incorporation files for 15,000 shares at par value $1, with A A Dewan, Th J Tant and Thomas Lindsay as incorporators.
Masons elected grand officers after a lengthy session at Mason Temple. Names include Grand Master Herman Davie of Reno and Deputy Grand Master Henry W. Miles of Reno. other Reno appointees are listed along with officers for the Grand Chapter R A M and related orders. The next grand lodge session will be held in Reno.
The Goldfield team faces a hard Sunday schedule with Tonopah and others in pursuit of the championship pennant. Prout and Willits lead the pitching and batting, with Darrow, Perry, Pud Hatton and Quilky among key players as the squad prepares for the last practice tonight.
Special release program at the Butler tonight features Knights Templar Parade and Drith as a Selig release with Chicago plot and thirty Toyopah views from 1903. Also on screen are In Old Florida and For Her Brother's Sake with a Diamond Trio performance of new songs and dances in a multi reel program.

The 1902 charter under Armoni law lists George Wingfeld Nixon McCoimberidge P Hennes and Roo Davia as incorporators with Nixon and Wingtie as major stockholders. Fortie noted. reports described as lively.
Judge L M Frenet rendered a decision in the Heywood v Nye County salary case. The plaintiff seeks $100 for 1909 service as justice of the peace in Manhattan, while the county argues pay cannot exceed 150. Plaintiff has 20 days to amend the complaint as the total salary dispute nears seven hundred dollars.
In June 16 report from New, Joseph Hoste of Butte was killed when drilling hit a mine tunnel at the Valentda tram of the Pittsboro Silver Peak company. Walter Ward Robert Peterson Nestor Escola were seriously or slightly injured. Deputy Mine Inspector Gaughan investigated at Blair after the company alerted the Miners Union in Tonopah.
The Wolfe Tone club hosted a well attended dance at Ellis' Hall last night. The event featured lively entertainment and dancing continued into the late hours as guests departed, deeming the evening one long to be remembered.
Mrs. Jennie G Nichols superintendent of the Children's Reserve Work of the Pacific Inc travels to Tonopah to rescue abused and abandoned children.
