Newsboys Arrested Over San Francisco Racing Form Papers

Japanese Passenger Locomotives Shipped for Imperial Railroad
Ten passenger locomotives built by the Brooks plant of the American Locomotive company were shipped this week for the Imperial railroad of Japan. The engines, loaded on 46 flat cars, traveled as a special train over the Erie railroad to New York and then aboard a steamer. Carl Wagner of New York, GL Eastern agent for the A L C, will accompany the locomotives and assist on arrival. The engines mirror the class used on American railroads.

Miners Entombed at Belleview Colliery in British Columbia
In Fernie British Columbia forty five miners were entombed at the Belleview colliery near Frank Alberta last night. Eighteen were rescued, twenty bodies recovered, and four of the remaining seven are believed alive. The four survivors are in the upper workings walled off to limit gas spread, and all rescued have a good chance of recovery.

Antonini Sentenced to Twenty Five Years in Carson City
John Antonini was found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced by Judge Somers Priyada to twenty five years in the state penitentiary at Carson City Nevada.
