Arizona plans statehood again this winter as Cochise County Democrats vow continued political harness. The piece notes economy pledges and the choice of able, competent nominees pledged to the greatest good for the greatest number.

A contraction train is to be placed by mid October with iron bores entering the city before Thanksgiving. A new restaurant and chop house are planned to open in the Billiard Parlor building on Allen Street.

James Gregory of Dragoon Arizona has devised a patented railway tie praised by prominent railroad men. The device is described as efficient and money making with Mrs Gregory having contributed to the patent over several years. the inventor expects wide adoption and financial gain.
