Auto shipment through Cochise largest ever

The Detroit Maxwell company sent 249 automobiles in 31 cars to agents in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The freight train moved from Rock Island yard to Tucson then via Southern Pacific to the coast. Nine cars head to Los Angeles and 22 to San Francisco.
