The piece surveys Tombstone as a residence favorite and praises El Paso Herald's 28th year with a new building. It notes Hearst led income tax polls, reflects on Alabama's stance, and argues for a factual, businesslike national census led by Taft to keep politics out of counting. It mentions Mary Baker Eddy, Arizona sugar, and a skeptical grafted city government claim.
