The Epworth League was formed by the young people of the Methodist church with strong membership. Regular meetings are held at the church each Sunday evening. Elected officers include Georgia Holland president Adair Landers first vice president Grace Hill second vice president Agnes Curbett third vice president Mary Krew fourth vice president Ruby Lamb secretary and treasurer.
The grand lodge of the Knights of Pythias will hold its annual meeting in Phoenix during fair week on November. Tombstone representatives named are H E Berner G W Swain and W F Kuchenbecker.
