Weekend petty thefts reported citywide

Considerable petty larceny occurred around town over the weekend. Officers are on the lookout for the perpetrators. On Sunday night a back window at the Arcade car toon was broken to gain entry. The thief took cash about $25 and goods worth $15 along with whiskey and cigars. No clues are available on the suspects.

Pima County Must Pay the Bonds Declared Legal

The United States Supreme Court denied rehearing in Utter v. Arizona. Pima County bonds issued to aid a railroad are upheld after prior appeals. The lower court is directed to issue a writ of mandate to compel the Territorial Loan Commission to handle the bond issue.
