Boulder Canyon Project Seen Vital to Arizona and Nevada
An exclusive interview with Captain Howard Sawyer Reed argues that the Boulder Canyon dam on the Colorado River could cost 54,000,900 dollars, rise 60 feet, generate 60 000 horsepower, and irrigate vast Arizona lands while supplying cheap power for pumping underground water. Reed urges Arizona to claim a larger stake before California and others secure benefits, noting the project’s potential to spur future prosperity and prevent river water waste.
