The itemized bill shown as $15.20 was proper, and a later $14.20 mileage claim by Deputy Matt Moore was attached but not double counted. The report clears Sheriff Lewis and the board of any impropriety, affirming integrity and duty.

A late night accidental shooting near Bisbee leaves Ward Dort dead. Honey Wilton fires at a noise, striking Ward in the eye as he investigates a movement blamed on the dog. Coroner’s jury exonerates Wilton.
The shipment balance for the three fire hoovers has been received and two hundred feet of hose placed on a cart for each hoover. Combined with the existing hose, there will be ample supply to supply three or four streams if needed during a fire.

E B Gage, president of Tombstone Consolidated Mines Co., left for San Francisco for company business. at Fairbank he met stockholders B Bincop and Stambaugh who will join him on the trip west.
J G Pritshard from Bisbee reports growing mining focus in the Huachucas with prominent Michigan specialists visiting to inspect a group of claims. The properties belong to Ace st Breon Obas Macsur Ambrose Pierce and others as work may begin.
Myers brother of the time keeper for the Cansnea company died at his home in Omaha from typhoid fever. He had few friends in Co chive county and will be greatly mourned by those who knew him.
Fr Brant and his companion left this morning for St David to be at the bedside of Mrs ant's father, who was critically ill and not expected to recover. Later reports state Mr Rad has died and a coffin was brought by OB Carbell.

Stewart Grant, who tore a number of years has been serving as steward at the company hospital in Bisbee, was a Tombstone visitor today. He has just returned from Connelllin where he took a course to train nurses and expects to enter the employ of the company at their Bisbee hospital.
