Robbers stole $500 from two Tucson women after each hid money in unsafe places. Mrs Felipe Schramm of North Stove Avenue was one victim whose savings supported a family of six. A second prominent woman, who withdrew funds from a bank, buried it in her yard and lost it the same night.

William Wright, a 20 year old Texas cowboy nicknamed edna ested, begins a second sentence for assault with intent to kill after a prior pardon by the president on December 4, 1903 for an Indian woman’s case. He had served from October 30, 1908 in Pinal county.
