Fire destroys con concentrator at Clifton

A disastrous Clifton fire damaged the con concentrator and ore handling setup of Anzona Copper Co, with dynamite used to threaten the ore beds. The blaze overshadowed social events as the Eastern Star dance proceeded with 75 couples present, led by Worthy Patton Johnson and Mrs Ho H Hughart, amid out of town guests and orchestra music.
