HOUSE PASSE APPROPRIATION BILL IN MEXICAN-YUQUI CRISIS

Merry music of stamps in Tombstone today

For the first time since the T C M suspended operations in Tombstone a test run of stamps and machinery occurred at the Bunker Hill Company test mill. Reports say everything ran smoothly and the mill is expected to operate by early next month. Work at the pumps in the Boom shaft continues to prepare pumping of water by electricity with the Boom boilers set to provide power. The brief stamping moment pleased Tombstone residents with stake in the Old Camp.

Sheriff Harry Wheeler Deputy Cross and Constable Hayhurst arrested May 15 in Douglas on whiskey selling charges against Gran y Orrison E T Parrot Polly and William Garrett. Each faced three charges and was bound at 1000 dollars for a preliminary hearing next Wednesday. Additional liquor arrests expected as warrants prepared.
