A company of 10 men arrived in Agua Prieta yesterday from Hermosillo via Naco, bringing total troops in town to about 200. The soldiers reinforce the frontier as rebels threaten the area and potential attacks loom from across the border.
City clerk and judge Cowan claims Arizona saves money after his bill redirected incorporation fees away from the secretary of the territory to the territorial treasury. A capitol report shows fees collected in the years since the change totaled 373531.35 dollars.
Governor Hunt names John Hennessy of Florida Liam Morgan of Sowdeke and Fred TC erville of Apache County to form the northern Arizona Sheep Sanitary Commission. The board members are notable sheep industry residents and allies of Morgan and Coulter, who served at the Constitutions convention with the governor.

Floyd Williams recently recovered a judgment against the sect leader and moved to execute on three males in the county, claiming $1600 was paid into the sect's treasury. Hiram Williams and A G Kurvie filed the suit in the superior court, alleging the funds were not properly handled.
