Lost aviators found after desert search in Sonora
Lieut. Colonel Harry G. Bishop and Lieut. W. A. Robertson Jr. were located more than 200 miles south of the border by a civilian search party from Wellton, exhausted and without food or water. Robertson was hurt but Bishop, too weak to walk, was left with four searchers in the Rosa Rio mountains. Food consisted of two sandwiches and two oranges. Captain Greenway coordinated four search parties from Ajo and Wellton to locate them.
