A truncated Los Angeles report notes the Arizona legal action upholding a disputed route known as Iggle Round. An injured man may testify and a physician weighs in on the matter as the borderland route comes under scrutiny.
The Prospector contests the Los Angeles to Phoenix race route and backs a year round Borderland Route via El Paso through Douglas Bisbee Tombstone Tucson Phoenix Yuma El Centro and San Diego. Local notes mention church services, repairs on Fremont Street home, jury plans in Tombstone, water at Jo Bar ranch, and a Supreme Court ruling allowing a pervert injured to compel medical testimony in a damage suit against the Arizona New Mexico Railroad Company.
The Cochise county delinquent list for the year 191¢ shows only $26,603.49 delinquent, from a total collectable tax of $1,006,814.17. Treasurer’s records indicate $979.68 collected to date, with a low delinquency highlighting prompt taxpayer payments and reduced penalties. County valuation totals $3,335,074.67 and the tax rate is 0.94 per $100 valuation.
The drawing of the trial and grand jury for the next term of the superior court was held today. Chairman Sparks of the Board of Supervisors Recorder Owen E Murphy Judge Lockwood and Clerk James were present. Fifty names were drawn to be given to the sheriff to subpoena.

The Phoenix report outlines bills extending tax payment deadlines to April 15 1915. It covers Senate measures for municipal subventions using school houses, bank depositor reporting, state bank deposits guarantees, and amendments to civil code. Lawmakers discuss creating joint committees to study the mothers pension act and penal code changes. Printing costs are being cut by consolidating bills and journals.
A physician arrived and after examination ordered the patient conveyed to A C hospital immediately for urgent care.
Oscar K Goll secretary of the Douglas Chamber of Commerce and Mines announced in the county seat that the Hereford route has been abandoned and all travel will be directed via the State Highway through Tombstone. He noted the shift affects routes previously using Hereford though some traffic may have used Hereford in the past.
Residents and nonresident owners in Tombstone must address housing shortfalls or families headed there may be forced to live in tents. Officials urge verification of ownership and prompt repairs to prevent a growing housing crisis in the town.
