Crowds packed Capitol City yesterday as Charlie Hamilton flew three miles in four minutes at Phoenix, circling the fair grounds track in rapid succession. The 8 cylinder craft roared past the grandstand at racing speed, dipping and turning with expert control before spectators.
W L Kuykendall, a leading figure in the Odd Fellows order, is expected to visit Tombstone this spring and attend the Arizona Grand Lodge meeting in Phoenix from April 17 to 19. His role as sovereign grand sire underscores the event's significance in fraternal circles.

Washington dispatch reports expenditures for forest reservations totaling 5 083.70. NM areas include New Mexco Alamo 33449 and Datil 42903. Arizona sites feature Coronado 24212 and Tonto 33111. Los Angeles dispatch reports Wolfley former governor of track by San Montes on the Pacific Electric line to the city. He suffered concussion scalp wounds a fractured rib and other bruises and was taken to receiving hospital where surgeons doubted his chances due to age and weight. No witness saw the incident mortarman said Wolfley stepped in front of the car making a stop impossible. Wolfley of Prescott Arizona has been in Los Angeles for a year on mining ventures.

Bustamiente and Vega, accused of killing Plumb and Kuykendall, were brought to Tombstone by Under sheriff Hopkins and Constable Hilburn after a Cananea escape attempt. Jas W Toumey former professor of botany at the University of Arizona and ex director of the government experiment station at Tucson is appointed director of Yale University’s forest school. He succeeds Dr W Gravee as chief of forestry at Washington, succeeding Gifford Pinchot. Toumey has long ties to Arizona.
One case before Justice Burdick involves the Paso and Southwestern railway seeking ten dollars from Mises Herbe Haskell and Ethel Wicks for Los Angeles tickets allegedly bought at a discounted rate. The road says tickets were bought from its agent but undercharged. The women replevined their trunks while the railroad also seeks twenty dollars and costs. Judge Burdick will decide Monday.
A New York dispatch reports Southern Pacific sold its Wells Fargo holdings to the American Express Company. The deal follows American Express securing a contract to operate express services on Union Pacific lines starting April 1. Rumors about Harriman estate Wells Fargo sales were unfounded. The price paid was not disclosed, but the transaction would lift Southern Pacific’s Wells Fargo stake from 1.59 million to about 4.592 million in value.
In the District Court suit number 5911 Gled The Jake Marks Company versus Dillaha seeks revival of a February 14 1905 judgment in Yavapai County Arizona. Amount $1177.34 with interest at 1 percent per month from that date and costs.
