Notices received at the Tucson land office indicate S5.09 acres of surveyed land will be opened for settlement on March 18 amid expected strong demand for highland Colorado River country. Also notices promote Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and One Minute Cough Cure for grip and lung troubles, with local sales and services at Tombstone Pharmacy and a church service announcement.
F L Hewett of Winfield states that during the winter of 1898 1899 he suffered a severe La Grippe attack and recovered after using two bottles of Chamberlains Cough Remedy. He praises the medicine as effective and reliable and notes it is sold by the Tombstone Pharmacy.

The editors of the Jalisco Libre and El Paladin in Guadalajara face jail for defamation. The dispute centers on a letter signed by Heare J Brennen accusing Edward F Blew of misconduct by a local firm. Brennen says he was asked to publish but refused. the letter was published with his name signed. The case questions jurisdiction and may require court action to settle.
An old advertisement touts Mrs Winslow's Soothing Syrup as a trusted remedy used by millions of mothers for over city years. It claims to soothe, ease pain, cure wind colic, and relieve diarrhea in children. Sold for twenty five cents a bottle. pharmacists worldwide endorse it.
A Bay Horse named Barbaccmari was stolen from the OH ranch. It weighs 1100 pounds and bears a left thigh brand. The owner is E. F. Williams of Turner Arizona and offers a liberal reward. The remainder of the OCR text is garbled and nonessential.
