Clerk Karger Returns Home From Kerrville Trip
Clerk Karger of the Board of Supervisors returned home after a three week pleasure trip to Kerrville Texas with his wife and child. On the return journey he stopped in Bisbee to visit relatives and while in Douglas viewed the road between Douglas and Pirtleville. The highway was in excellent condition except for a short stretch. the Douglas Traction and Light company had previously improved the area for street car traffic. He plans to urge the board to address the issue as part of the Central highway improvement recently agreed to.

Fort Huachuca soldier Hansen was sentenced by Judge Lockwood to a term of not less than three nor more than ten years in the state penitentiary at Florence for the crime of wanelaughter. He killed a little Mexican girl on a Bisbee street while intoxicated. He is to begin serving his sentence after being moved to Florence.
