A festive gathering at the Exchange Hall featured prizes for best dressed group, songs, and a guitar bid. Hosts and managers praised the orderly celebration, while noting the clean night with little police intervention and late dancing followed supper.
Official report from Tome Cross shows the Board of Supervisors meeting on December 26 1888 appointing road district guardians for Bisbee Fairbank Tombstone and Willcox districts. It notes a financial statement for 1888, payments to jurors and a sick indigent transport, plus a tax exemption for Mrs Adamson and a small warrant adjustment.

A Prescott Courier item notes Scrup of Figs advertised to renew health and strength by cleansing the system when costive or bilious, sold in 5c and 1.00 dollar bottles by local druggists. Also reported: Bashford and Burmister store received 18 000 dollars in gold bullion from Crowned King mill in Bradshaw district after 20 days of ore processing by a 10 stamp mill.
