Train Kills Man and Son Near Bisbee
A collision near Bisbee involving a Ford and a passenger train left George Brown dead at the scene and Rehery Brown dying in hospital an hour later. The wreck occurred when the car failed to cross the tracks as the El & SW train, delayed by schedule, passed at high speed. Occupants of the other car survived as the train dragged the Ford about 200 feet. Nearby residents Lowell and Warren, the driver and two others, were shaken. Keenathy, a longtime Bisbee miner, had recently moved back to Tumas from St David.

Christmas program at Consrega hd brings joy to 300 children
The Consrega hd program was presented before a city hall audience last evening. Children acquitted themselves creditably with a 4 pat by Miss Alice Hastings' class, a decorated Christmas tree, and treats for all. The largest fund gift was aimed at helping those without Christmas remembrance, and donors are thanked for bringing joy to more than three hundred children.

The city of Bisbee appeals two superior court decisions in Cochise County to the Arizona Supreme Court. One suit by Frank W Hirsch and wife seeks 50,000 damages, won 10,000 for injuries due to a stairway they claim was unsafe and city maintained. The second appeal seeks 4,000 for Charles Thomas who claimed 25,000 in an auto crash caused by city street conditions. The January calendar will set hearings. a church choir will sing Christmas hymns at a public service.

Noted singer entertains veterans at Fort Whipple Prescott
Noted singer Madame Schumann Heizk entertained 740 bedbound veterans at Fort Whipple hospital in Prescott Ariz on December 23. She performed and distributed a bouquet, asking the veterans to remember her and to smile. She previously gave a concert in town and planned to sing at the hospital again at the request of the local American Legion post.
