Rich Vein Outcropping Found By Street Pavers

Workmen laying curbing on Allen street uncovered a rock covered with native or horny silver near the Vizina vein area in Tombstone. Old timers estimate high ore value, believing the find to be a fragment of the famed lost Vizina vein once mined by Homer Fisher’s ventures and later the T M Co. The discovery sparked local excitement as authorities consider further exploration and the potential for rich rewards in the historic mining district.
