Rebels Reported Besieging Bands Near Sonora Rail Line
Passengers on the Nacozari train to Douglas describe two rebel bands between Douglas and Fronteras each with about fifteen to twenty men. One group robbed a Chinese resident near the rail line. The other, led by Jajuin Fequer, operated between Yasbal and Nacozari and was driven from Purica Tue by federal troops from Bacozari. Federals said to have tracked rebels in the Ajo mountains, with recruits crossing the line. Fears grow that bridges between Douglas and Necozart may be burned again by these forces.
