Arizona Must Raise 5 Million Dollars This Year
Arizona must raise for next year’s revenue 3,832,946.10 dollars, state budget announced by State Auditor Boyce. He estimated 234,244 dollars for the general fund and about 5,500 by taxation. In Bisbee Douglas August, preliminary deportation hearings were adjourned in Justice W C Jacks court until next week on defense counsel request after defendants were summoned to El Paso. The next cases likely to resume are Henry Balmfalk Alec Nichols and John Scott. A. M. Sinclair was cleared of kidnapping charges due to misidentification. William White and Dr W P Sims testified they saw both defendants armed as guards during the roundup.
