He was bound over to the superior court at Tombstone on a $1000 bond after claiming funds for ranch stock. A separate complaint alleges Beretek stole a $300 diamond ring from Mrs De Vere Hamburg.

Attorney O Gibson returned from Phoenix where he attended the Temperance Federation convention. He reported 160 delegates from diverse groups united to push a state prohibition through impeachment of the constitution. A permanent organization was formed, $800 raised, and a full report will be given at the Congregational church next Sunday with public invitations extended.
