Back Him Up Push for Private Land Court Amendment
Mr. Smith introduces a House bill to amend the act establishing a private land court promising settlers on Arizona land grants relief. It would exempt confirmed Spanish or Mexican grants from certain orders and require survey and payment by occupants or claimants at standard public land rates. The measure aims to quiet unsettled claims without forcing occupants to sue.
