Two explorers who left the Needles in a home built boat arrived at Yume after a 15 day voyage. The craft, built of Arizona lumber, draws 22 inches loaded and measures 74 feet by 24 with a 6 by 2 foot centerboard. The flat bottom keel is eight inches wide. They expect a 400000 mile two year trip with cautious progress.
