The Daily Epitaph lists a schedule for the Mexico and Arizona Rail Road Company noting Pacific times are 36 minutes slower than elapsed times. All trains run daily.
A garbled OCR style town transit message mentions a bound train, stage stages, and a reference to Gee -106 Allen Street near Occidental Hotel. It references Guaymastras oases and Charleston Naves with times around 6 to 7 a.m. The readable items are train and stage listings with place names and street addresses but lack coherent narrative.
The paper is on file at B C Dake's Advertising Agency at 64 and 65 Merchants Exchange San Francisco California where advertising contracts for the paper can be arranged.
Local notes report Jack Martin and G Hopkins traveling to Bisbee on mining business. It recalls Gen W S Hanek's death a year ago and notes Cleveland's Baltimore Charity Ball attendance boosting receipts. Reports births, cattle moves, carnival plans, and political disputes over Mohave county seat moves. A sharp tribute to Judge Barnes precedes remarks on mineral park case.
Arizona holds eight major mines whose output has boosted the territory into a premier silver and copper belt. The Copper Queen, Silver King, Free Old Dominion, United Verde, Grand Central, Tombstone Mill and Mining Co, Vizna, Contention and other Tombstone properties have paid dividends totaling about eight million dollars, with capital stocks ranging from three to twelve and a half million dollars.
Ranchers rail at a February 5 1837 Arizona Territory letter to the Legislature. The writer condemns a tax on commercial travelers as protection for local jobbers, arguing it harms miners ranchers laborers and other residents by keeping all prices high.
Notices include a call to regular company meetings by nine taps of the firebell at set times, a cheap sale of a black walnut bedroom set, and health advertisements for Hostetter s Stomach Bitters and Ayer s Cherry Pectoral. Also mentions Dr Flints Heart Remedy and a medical advisory, with address J J Mack & Co Front St San Francisco.
The county Recorder listed instruments for Old South Wales mine near Des Cobenas peaks and Way Up mine renamed Chance mine by J N Leearce. Protection mine located Tombstone district near Fremont street. Union mine between White Tail Deer and Dila Mick mines in Mule Mountains by William Bambrick. Deeds include Alice Cook mine transfers in Tombstone district and lot and house transfers on suh street for $200. A miner H E Gray’s preserved body was exhumed and sent to his wife in Columbus, Georgia. Hercules agent W G Wharf stays at Occidental.

Cornelius Vanderbilt builds a tiled milk house costing over 1000 dollars. Senator Hearst suffers malarial fever in San Francisco but is not in danger. Lucy Stone predicts a woman will be U S president in 2000. Evangelist Sankey urges New York sinners toward the right path. Henry Probasco sends his picture collection from Cincinnati to New York for sale. Rumor claims no indication at Holand Patent that Miss Cleveland contemplates marriage. William S. Chandler contemplates starting a Manchester New Hampshire paper. Hannibal Hamlin told the Maine Press Association that the newspaper dethroned kings. Governor Hill of New York dined with Joe Drexel at his house. Thomas A Edison improves and plans to return to Fort Myers Florida. Pat Connelly of Galveston becomes a raving maniac from Henry George books. Fred Douglass and Theodore Tilton travel in Paris gathering attention.
By order of the County Court of Cochise Territory an execution issued to collect 3,963 damages with 4 percent interest and 525.56 costs. On March 3 1887 the sheriff will auction the Green Mary EL Summit Silver Contact Poor Prospector Outlook Stella Helton Sobrante Kearsing Hooper Blue Bell Extension Golden Lily and 84 mining claims in Hassehuca Mountains Cochise County Arizona to satisfy the judgment.
A court ordered sale in Cochise County Arizona auctions Lots 7 8 6 and 10 in Block X Tivoli Gardens with improvements. Public notice states sale to satisfy a judgment with interest costs and attorney fees, to be held March 7, 1887 at Shen’s office Tombstone at 9 00 am to 4 00 pm, cash in United States dollars.
