Ora Clanin writes that he Mrs Clanin and Mr and Mrs Magrath spent two weeks in West Baden Indiana by car with smooth sailing except 50 miles of muddy roads. They left Toluca Tuesday morning and reached West Baden Wednesday night covering 369 miles. The women are enjoying the trip and the men note one bath since departure. They plan to return Sunday night.

Skeleton Found in the Woods Near Streator
In the woods east of Streator two boys found bleached bones later identified as Perry Godanour, a Dana blacksmith missing since August 15. Pieces of shirt and a pocket knife helped ID. the remains lay within fifty feet of a large ground halo, with a dynamite shell indicating the blast caused fragmentation. He was 52 and had a history with liquor and a separated wife residing in Streator.
