Painful Accident Claims Four Year Old Mary Helen Patton
Mary Helen Patton, four, daughter of Mr and Mrs Warren Patton, formerly of this vicinity now in Wenona, was severely scalded two weeks ago when a pan of hot water spilled. Mrs Patton had started a pan of hot water upstairs and, after turning on the electric light, the pan upset and splashed the child, whose skin peeled from the knee down. The Toluca community expresses sorrow for the family.
