Rotation to Prevent Bean Crop Disorders
Farmers should rotate beans on the same land no more than every three to four years and destroy all diseased vines and trash by burning. Avoid early morning cultivation when foliage is dew-wet and select disease-free pods for seed from fields away from existing crops. Seed testing and chemical seed treatment are ineffective. Bordeaux spray is only partially successful.
