Highway Work On Main Street Progress In Titanica
For nearly five years Titanica has debated Highway 226 progress from Main Street north to Highway 18. The south fifty miles is finished and passable though shoulders remain. Crews tore up sections, leveled, rolled, and applied oil coats while north Main Street sections near the Methodist church and Harm Uken corner were excavated. Workers errantly ripped and rebuilt blocks to form a solid base, hoping for a durable road that may finally meet specifications.
