Editorial notes on Algona papers and a town council report
A long mixed text discusses editorial ethics and jealousy among Algona newspapers over a Des Moines visit and an injured thumb incident. It includes a town council note with the July 1909 proceedings, tax levy details, and permissions for event use of streets. The piece also mocks sensationalism by religious sects and mentions a Pacific Monthly subscription offer.
