Winnebago REA Expands Capacity With New Substations
The Winnebago Rural Electric Cooperative Association approved a 216000 loan from the government on October 22 to extend its system. Plans include two 69 000 volt substations near Thompson Lake Mills and south of Buffalo Center, six miles of 69 kV line, and a Des Moines contractor for line work.
