Fire at Fisher Home Sparks Overalls Blaze
A second blaze of the same origin struck the John Fisher home last Wednesday evening. Mr and Mrs Fisher rushed to a district PTA meeting, Mrs Fisher to speak, while Mr Fisher forgot a book and returned home. Stanley smelled smoke, alerted the family, and firefighters found a room full of smoke with greasy overalls burning. A scorched floor and smoked room were the only damages, caused when a lit match ignited by stepping on the overalls. The earlier incident occurred at the Dick B Moyer home in spring.
