Wesley mourns the death of Ole Petersen who died at his home in Mission Texas. The body will be shipped to Algona for burial beside his wife and son. Petersen came to Wesley over fifty years ago and served as a section boss. The family home stood west of the James Frank residence. they later owned a farm four miles west of Wesley and bought property near Mission about eight years ago.

Death of Ralph Emery Tryon in Titonka Iowa
Ralph Emery Tryon died at his son Frank Tryon’s Titonka home on October 26 1928 from a brain tumor after months of illness. He was born October 8 1871 in Camanche Iowa lived in Wesley and Titonka, married Ida Dunlap in 1892 and had three sons Harold Frank and Ralph Jr who died in infancy. Funeral services were held at Frank Tryon home and Wesley M E church with several relatives attending from nearby towns.
