Egg Production 30 Percent Ahead of 1941
Iowa egg production for the first three months of 1942 is over 30 percent ahead of the same period last year, says D O derkirk, poultry marketing specialist at Iowa State College. Nearly 76 million dozen eggs were produced, signaling strong response to the call for more poultry products as favorable margins, high laying rate, and large flocks push toward a new high.
