The Kossuth County Achievement Day will be hosted by the county project women on Wednesday May 24 at the Burt Presbyterian Church. A noon paper sack lunch will be eaten outdoors if weather allows. Townships will showcase clothing thrift ideas, with booths and a style show, and judges will select posters for the State Fair. The class of 1993 holds its baccalaureate on May 21 at eight o'clock in the Methodist Church. The program includes processional senior class song Holy Holy Holy and other readings, a baccalaureate sermon, and a May Day pageant titled The Control of the Seasons. Reformed Church News Highlights Pulpit and Plans
Last Sunday the Reformed Church of Buffalo Center welcomed former pastor Reverend G Haken and welcomed Reverend John Schafer from Parkersburg who preached at Communion. Painting has begun on the church exterior and plans for Children’s Day and the annual picture will be discussed at next Tuesday’s eight o’clock Sunday School teacher meeting. The annual Mission West of the Ramgay Church is set for June 7.
