The Four Corner Social Club of Portland held a Former Member's Tea on Tuesday May 7 at the Portland Community Hall. Fifteen former members from Titania Burt and Lone Rock attended. Mrs Earl Zwiefel led the program with America the Beautiful on piano by Mrs Victor Fitch.

Mr and Mrs Clifford Krantz Noel and Mr and Mrs Harold Gartner with Diane hosted Sunday supper for Donald Budlong. Mrs Walker McDonald picked up Julie in Des Moines for a Boone visit with Mrs Albert Eckberg and returned to Town City. Louise Eden returned home after a visit.

Mother's Day Tea Draws Over 100 Guests at Dean Church
The annual Mother's Day Tea at the Dean Church on May 2 drew 110 registered guests from Burt Methodist Ramsey Re formed and Titonka Methodist churches.
