Duke in the Hilton Like Southamption Mystery
A penniless, ex-film idol dubbed the Duke breaks into a deserted Southampton sea house for shelter. He restlessly scavenges the luxurious rooms, disguises himself in a dressing gown, then hides as a car arrives and a four-person household discovers him. The scene ends with the butler recognizing Ridder while the intruder remains unseen.
