Funeral services for Florence E. Reaser were held in Titonka with burial in Buffalo Township Cemetery. Reaser, former Titonka City Clerk, died April 27 at Friendship Haven Fort Dodge. Surviving children and grandchildren are listed. Indians place fifth at Armstrong Invitational with Gary Goetz winning the 220 yard dash in 24.2 seconds and other placings noted. They head to the District Track Meet at Armstrong on May 14 aiming for state at Des Moines May 28-22.

Waldorf, a two year college of the American Lutheran Church, offers transfer and career programs alongside liberal arts. About seventy percent of students continue to four year institutions.

Funeral Services Held For Jacob Helm 79
Jacob C. Helm 79 died May 5 in a Mason City hospital. Funeral services were held May 7 at United Presbyterian Church in Woden with Rev. Richard Glasglow officiating. Burial followed in Bingham Township Cemetery. He served in World War I with the 88th Infantry Machine Gun Co and was a charter member of Woden American Legion Post 628. He operated a Woden hardware store from 1925 to 1949. He married Elsie Schauf in 1931 and left survivors including his wife, two daughters, two brothers, seven sisters, and one granddaughter.
