Joint Humboldt Kossuth Drainage Board Proceedings
The January 25 1913 joint meeting of Humboldt and Kossuth counties Iowa opened bids for the Humboldt Kossuth Joint Drainage District No Five and awarded the contract to Joseph Fleiter for the same bid amount with engineer C B Paines appointed in charge and appraisers named for benefits. A February 11 1913 adjourned meeting appointed L Oesterreicher and J G Devine to lead the joint board and considered mid drainage district adjustments and later resolutions establishing Drainage District No 78 79 with appraisers and engineers authorized to assess damages and oversee improvements.
