Mr and Mrs Ben Atzen of Britt visited the Henry Bode home Wednesday evening. The American Legion and Auxiliary banquet in Britt Thursday marked the 22nd birthday of the organization. A home talent play will be held March 28 and 29 for the Band Mothers Club. Numerous local visitors and callers were noted, with events from Des Moines to Mason City and Clear Lake.
The senior class will stage Crashing Society, a three act comedy, April 18 at Woden Community Hall. The Dutch Detective farce plays March 28 and 29. Admission 35 cents adults 20 cents students. proceeds to Woden Community Band. Seniors beat the rest 29 to 13 in a benefit basketball jamboree. 31 to 21 high school boys over alumni.
