Community Visits and Birthday Gatherings Across Local Homes
Several households report weekend and weekday visits. Thorn ton resident Mrs. Dan Spillman visited her sister’s home, while Bill’s birthday was celebrated at the Rode residence with friends including Ronald Lee and family from Sioux Falls. A large group attended various dinners and salons as families hosted relatives from Burt, Algona, Corwith, Mason City, and Forest City, with trips to Mason City for a La James Cosmetology contest.
