Oldest Extant Fiction Tale From Thebes Named D Orbiney Papyrus
The Tale of Two Brothers, possibly 200 years old, by Ennana Abrahan of Menepihah’s palace. Written for the crown prince Seti I, with autograph kingly signatures across the manuscript. Papyrus consists of nineteen sheets in bold blended hand, once bought in Italy by Mme d Orbiney and later sold to the British Museum in 1857.
