Dense community diary lists Mrs. A Schram Mrs. Turner and many families visiting relatives in Burt Wesley and surrounding towns. Numerous calls visits and social events fill days with Lodge conventions church services and farm tasks across multiple households including Doering Meinzer Buffington and H antecedent families.
Burt items report several local visits and illnesses including tonsil removals for Byra Dittmer and Mrs. L R Daniels by Dr Clapsaddle. Residents CH Smith and others spent days at the lakes while J P Cunningham and son visited Bancroft. An eight year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Claudia Toothman died in Ft Dodge and burial followed in Burt.
The Mens Chorus led the Good Hope church Sunday closing revival meeting. Burt Rebec cas convention drew several autos to Algona last Wednesday for the event. H C Bull returned from Des Moines after attending a bankers convention. Mr and Mrs A N S Thompson visited Fairfield. Miss Irma Davison joins J F Vogel store as new clerk. sister Edna resigns and will go to Des Moines for nursing at M E hospital. H E Paine and family drive to El Paso to visit her parents.

A boy injured two fingers in a washing machine wringer but is expected to recover. numerous calls and social visits occurred at various homes including Cordes, Wirtjes, Spear, Janning, and Geerdes residences.
In Sexton and nearby towns residents recount visits to Algona and Britt. J. D. Andrews and families, Mrs. Erickson and children spent a day in Seneca and at the Anderson home. Others shopped, visited kin, and plowed fields. A silver sliver injury to Vesta Breace required removal with anesthetic.
