Weekend guests from Hopkins Minnesota and Wichita Kansas visited Elwood Nelson and nearby families. Scree shows Udall tornado relief drive raised funds. Several picnics and services followed Memorial Day with multiple local households hosting friends and relatives. Bible school classes continued at Ramsey Reformed Church north of Titonka.
Presbyterian ministers Rev and Mrs Smidt arrive in Burt. Paul Krueger and Aug ust Schipull take a ten day trip visiting Iowa Minnesota Wisconsin towns and relatives. Vernon Larsen seeks treatment in Missouri while Minnie Larsen cares for children. Chet Stow dies at 99 in Oklahoma. Various local visits, showers, and a 85th birthday party brighten June gatherings.
Mr and Mrs Louis Bartlett visited Mason City on Sunday to see their daughter and family including Barbara. Mrs W W White of Iowa Falls and Vera McWhorter of Omaha stayed Monday and Tuesday at the McWhorter home. Gene Ringsdorf of Des Moines and Don ald Ringsdorf with Barbara joined Henry Radmaker for Sunday dinner in celebration of Gene Ringsdorf and his wife’s first wedding anniversary.
