Funeral services for a friend were held at Grundy Center with overnight visits in Wellsburg. Woden FP T A held a special election electing President Mrs Earl Tweet Vice President Mrs Jas Valley Treasurer Mrs Jacob De Waard and Secretary Mrs Martin Christensen. Catholic parish picnic was at the town park with a pot luck dinner. Mrs Lulu Baack former Woden resident was visiting. Shirley Meyer returned home from Central College to teach in Gilman Iowa.

Mr and Mrs Louis Bartlett visited Mason City on Sunday to see their daughter and family including Barbara. Mrs W W White of Iowa Falls and Vera McWhorter of Omaha stayed Monday and Tuesday at the McWhorter home. Gene Ringsdorf of Des Moines and Don ald Ringsdorf with Barbara joined Henry Radmaker for Sunday dinner in celebration of Gene Ringsdorf and his wife’s first wedding anniversary.
