Memorial Day events in Ti donka were organized by the American Legion with a cemetery decoration in the morning by Legion, Spanish American War veterans, firing squad, and 4-H flower bears. A parade marched to Pannkuk’s Coliseum for a service led by Rev. Jewel Pickett of Mason City, whose address urged lasting peace and sacrifice. Afterward, graves at Buffalo and Westey cemeteries were decorated, honoring fallen comrades Lane, Countryman, Wheeler, and Breen.
